Transferring to Mullen

Your Educational Journey Continues at Mullen High School

Mullen can be the next step in your student’s educational journey.
We are accepting applications for both mid-year transfers and transfers for the 2025-2026 school year.

Class of 2026 Transfer

"I thought I had found my place in high school, but in my sophomore year, I realized my needs had changed. I had a friend at Mullen who invited me to come shadow. Even as a visitor I was welcomed with open arms. I ended up transferring to Mullen the next year and I love it. I made the right choice for me."

Application Process

Successful transfer applicants must meet the following criteria for admission:

  • Applicant must be in good standing at their current school.
  • Applicant must have earned sufficient academic credit to graduate with their class under "normal Mullen academic workload."
  • All applicants must complete teacher and dean of student assessments.
Required Steps to Apply to Mullen:
  • Complete the Inquiry Form
  • Complete the online Mullen application
  • Submit the required teacher assessments from current Math and English teacher and the Counselor/Administrator assessment
  • Submit the required Dean of Students assessment
  • Ask your current high school to forward all necessary transcripts and work in progress to Mullen High School
  • Participate in the personal interview process with a member of the Admissions team

Tuition Assistance Available

  • Do not let finances keep you from exploring Mullen. We will do what we can to support you and your families.
  • We encourage families to apply for tuition assistance. It is a requirement for all families pursuing financial support from Mullen to fill out the FACTS application for the 2025-2026 school year.
  • For mid-year transfer students, we encourage you to complete the FACTS Application for 2025-2026. We will use this application for tuition assistance consideration for Spring 2025 and the 2025-2026 school. Current tax documentation will be required.
  • Mullen is committed to helping make Catholic education accessible for all.

Athletic Elegibility

If you are transferring from a Colorado high school, CHSAA rules may affect when you will be eligible to play a sport at Mullen. For more information, please contact Melynda Brown, Mullen Athletic Director
